The XR18 seems to have a built-in bidirectional USB audio-interface. I assume I could then download a multi-track from the loop community, play it in Prime on Mac or iPad with output into USB of XR18 which would allow me simulate a live band playing and mix it using the XR18. Ladies and gents, I really want a mixer audio interface like XR18 by Behringer. They're only 450.00. I was thinking of getting the SSL2+ or Audient ID14 or Steinberg URRT2(with Neve ). I'll be using my Ipad to control and my Imac. Most of the time probably I'll be using the IPAD. The XR18 is super cool. It's about the same size, width-wise, as my Roland CM-220 subwoofer I also got from Sweetwater, and does everything I need for now. The iPad app is very neat, and the Mac app. TRANSFER: You may not rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, sublicense or provide commercial hosting services with the Software. You may, however, make a one-time permanent transfer of all of your license rights to the Software to another end user in connection with the transfer of ownership of your Product, provided that: (i) the transfer must include your Product and all of the Software. Behringer describe their XR18 as an “18-channel, 12-bus digital mixer for iPad/Android tablets, with 16 programmable Midas preamps, integrated Wi-Fi module and multi-channel USB audio interface”. When I read this, it made the XR18 sound like something I’d be interested in any day of the week, and around the same time, a live job came up.
